Letter from  Mike Piper regarding year 6 camp, At this stage fund raising is on target. However they would like to request PTA assistance up to the value of $1,000.00 if needed later on in the year.
Motion: 1,000.00  Be put aside for the year six camp  Passed

Thank You Card:  PTA received a’ thank you  for helping to pay for cooking class’ from the senior student selected for after school class.

Ink Cartridge   (TRC)Turning old ink cartridge into cash. WE will look at this for a fun raiser

We have been given the Ministry, Food and Nutrition for School  Regulation Change Guideline
Community Focus Group  meeting Friday up for discussion Assembly & Year Group, Homework, Home school Partnership in mathematics.
School Uniforms Shoes (Black, Blue, Brown) Socks plain white, black or navy blue .
Life Education Caravan  on site first week of term 3

GENERAL BUSINESS

⇒            One of our parents took a group tourist to Westfield Manukau City which gave our school
⇒            a great boost to be in the top of the list to win prizes
⇒            Pegs  309 small & 225 large sold
⇒            T Towels  Must sell 100 per class. Will check other sources.
⇒            Photos Family Photos will be  on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th  July in time for Fathers Day
⇒            2008 Fun day will be held March 1st,    Request for committee Rachel, Lynda, Philippa, Jo
⇒            Metals  Rachel will get metals out to the past student.
⇒            PTA Profile work in progress this is at the Translation stage
⇒            Getting  notices out to year 6 parent, will look at sending notices with young students.
⇒            Cook Books found in back of resource room, Notice will go out to parents for extra sales.
